Tranny info please 93
Ok before people say do a search allready tried that. I also have a repair manual but it seems to be more geared toward auto trannies and the same goes for my Owners Manual. Also I got tired of getting wet.
So today in the rain I decided to do a litle maintnance. It let up a little bit, so I did my oil change. I also want to change my gear oil as well, so here goes.
I don't know if I wasn't looking in te right place, or if I was just tired of geting wet, but I couldn't find for the life of my a dipstick to check my tranny fluid. In both my Owners manual and my repair manual it only mentions where the auto tranny's dipstick is.
Am I missing one or did they not come on cars with a manual tranny?
I found where to drain the transaxle, but where is the fill neither manual informs me of where this was? It was about this time that the rain picked up, so I had to call it quits. I was only really able to get 5 minutes of time to crawl around after my oil change was done.
This is my first Toyota, so I am sure there are subtle nuances that I need to learn.
