Tach, quick ?

Let me triple check -

To hook up a tachometer:

Red is positive
black is chassis ground
Green is neg side of the coil
white is illumination

Should I run the hotwire directly to the batter, or to a fuse?

I had it installed on my geo, but i forgot lol

Run it to switched power that's only on when the car is on. Otherwise the tach will be drawing power even when the car is off.
