Remember, the European 2ZZ Corolla T-Sport wiring is quite different from the NA 2ZZ especially the ECU pin outs etc. Make sure you get the Euro 2ZZ diagram.

Regarding your question about car revving only to 7000 rpm, it is a safety mechanism for the engine where the ECU limits revs only up to 7000 rpm when it is not safe to switch to the high lift cam after 6000 rpm. For example, if my XRS is cold and not properly warmed up, rev limiter kicks in at 7000 rpm and it never switches the cam at all.

What wiring harness is messed up? The one from the sportivo or the one that is from your car stock? What ECU are you using?

The problem is , I was having the engine 1zzfe and it was ok
I swapped the engine to be 2ZZ complete with its wiring harness and ECU but the problem that it was right hand side
All what I have done is that I cut the wiring harness and make it longer about a meter or less to install the ECu on the other side , and bear in mind I clamped every wire in its original place and color

The engine runs ok , but only revs to 7000 RPM
