AE92 90 Corolla 4cyl auto.* Electric Fan Issues*

Im working on my mothers 90 Corolla...the problem is the electric fan has qiut working....I have ran a jumper to the fan to verify it will work. Tried replacing the relay in the outerrelay/fuse panel.....no go. When turnign the a/c on it should come on automaticly right? It wont come on period will get hot if left idling to long. Any Help apreciated..... where is the temp senor fot the fan...or what might i check THANKS

Does your dash temp guage work properly? If not (engine gets hot but guage doesn't show a reading) then the coolant temp sensor is definitely shot. It's the green plug on the water inlet (right behind the thermostat housing). Try pulling a couple at a junkyard and see if one of them fixes the problem.
