New owner-oil/lube question

I have a new 2007 Corolla. I'm due for my first oil change, which I do myself. I see how easily located the filter and oil pan are. My question is on if a Corolla needs a lube job too or are all the fittings permanent and thus no lube required. I am inexperienced with how to "lube" a car so have no idea how to tell. But I know lots of cars now days never need a lube, just not sure on the Corolla. Also, anyone know..does the oil pan "nut" have a washer on it which should be replaced with each oil change? I had a Honda and it did, just not sure about the Toyota. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

What do you mean lube job? Be more specific.... I'm confizzled. You mean changing the oil? Then yes, all car needs to.

You are talking about the oil bolt gasket which goes between the bolt and the oil pan, you can if you want. I've clean and reused them before but they're cheap at the dealership so its not a major problem. Change it for the piece of mind. Same concept for Hondas, you could either reuse them or change them.

Cool

there must be kids here who never saw a zert fitting in their life. basically, most newer cars don't need a lube, most of the greased parts are greased for life and sealed.

I'm not sure how to answer this one . When one wants their car serviced you take it in for a lube and oil , some say a grease and oil change. You know..as in "jiffy lube" . But more and more cars do NOT require a LUBE/GREASE, but I am just not sure if the Corolla is one that does or does NOT require LUBE/GREASE with every oil change.

You gotta love parts that you have to load up with greese before you can even use them. Had a few of those on my Ramcharger... lol

I used to go to Mr Lube and aside from oil/filter change the only thing they used to lube was my door hinges, I've been taking it to Toyota recently so I'm not sure what they lube there.
