We just moved to B.C. from Alberta and now need a front licence plate. Is there a bracket required for a '98 or do I just screw it to the bumper (looks crappy I think)? I did a search in the forum and couldn't find anything. Thanks for your help.

Its up to you, you can drill holes in the front bumper and mount it that way which I think looks tacky or you can hit your local auto store and pick up a mounting bracket (should be universal).

Thanks Tangerine. Plate holders / brackets are not universal. What do you '98 Corolla owners have? Thanks for any help.

Please Help! Very interested to know what other '98 owners have. There are no dimples in the bumper indicating a screw in / self tapping attachment. When I called a dealer (2 hours away) he told me his information did not show a plate bracket.
