Australia Best Sparkies 4 a 4age

Hey guys im doin an engine conversion on my 94 corolla from an 4afe 2 a 4age, does anyone now whats the best gap to have on the sparkplugs??? its not super charged btw

The normal gap you have on a 4A-GE.

maybe you didnt read the thread properly i had the normal corolla csi n im puttin in the 4age so i dont know that info n i need to find out, do u noe or r u just bein smart??

Maybe you just didnt understand what I said, I said "Normal gap for a 4A-GE". Meaning the stock sparkplug type for a 4A-GE, not something else.

Like Flashmn said, If you buy the NGK Platinums they come pregapped basically, I just take the old ones out and replace them with the new ones.

There are no Iridium plugs for our cars, you can however buy the Copper plugs for them.

Theres no sense really getting iridium plugs, they dont add performance. Copper is just as good, platinum has a longer life span, iridium has the longest, but cost goes up too.

The whole point of the thread was to find out what the right gap was i dont really care what sparkies they are. i dont know the standard gap size 4 the 4age and i did research it btw and without ne smart remarks found the right gap its 0.043 btw for those lookin for a strait answer not a put down for askin a simple bloody question!!!!!

The answer basically was that you don't "NEED" to gap them if you get the right spark plugs, they're already "PRE-GAPPED"
