you won't void the entire warranty. If anything they won't cover a blown strut (which is very unlikely unless you slam it). Drop it with another spring and install them yourself if you want to save the cash.
I'm on TRDs and love them if you're looking for an opinion.
well i put them on, theyre nice, they havent decreased the riding comfort noticabily... but the car does look nicer, and its not too low so im sure theyll settle good
I know this is about a 07 and I have a 99. But is there any place that still sell TRD springs for 98-02? Our choices are getting very limited now.

I'm still looking for articles to back up this info, but IIRC, a while back there was a case that went to court and found it was illegal for dealerships to void warranties. Only the manufacturer has the right to do this, and it is only possible to void a warranty on a car that has been permanently altered, (as in bolt-on parts that can be removed and replaced with OEM parts cannot void warranties), unless it can be proven that the installation of said bolt-on resulted in a failure, like if you were putting parts on and didn't torque fasteners properly and shit falls apart at highway speed or whatever.
I could be wrong on all this, but I remember it was a big deal a little while back because car companies like Subaru and Mitsubishi were raping STi and Evo owners on warranty claims because they knew damn well that these cars were mainly bought by people that like to mod their toys. Some car owners to the case to a judge and he told the dealerships to go **** themselves.
Anyone who reads SCC regularly might be able to back me up on this cause I'm almost certain that they covered this.

well i ordered mine through the dealership... minus the shipping and the discount i got it was cheaper than online, but you should ask them. if not try to ebay it, or even google it if worst comes to worst
