intake

http://profile.imageshack.us/user/whatproblems/

link to pics of my intake... just rigged with rubber tubing and a piece of PVC piping right now

it rarely rains in my area so i won't have to worry about hydrolock

and that damn splashguard won't go back on... i snapped 4 bolts getting it off...

it works a lot better than any of the other places i had it at....
and has more power than any other places, and works good at all RPM's

im looking for some 2½" bendable Duct so i can make it fit on better

i had to move the battery over 2 inches or so, and move that collant resevoir up higher (instead of being mounted under the battery)

what u guys think?

i did the same w/ my previous car. I went to Home Depot picked up a few bends of PVC and made myself a cold air intake w/ a K&N cone filter. Spent like a total of IIRC roughly $60 including the filter for the whole set up. Instead of aiming it straight at the floor how about using one of the openings in the front facsia? so that you're also getting air forced into the filter as well.
