Exclamation AE82 noises while turning

I have been noticing a popping noise while turning. It happens moreso only when I turn left, and depends on how sharp I'm turning and what speed I'm going. for example if I come to a stop and make a slow 90* turn left into a parking lot, the popping noises will be fewer but more pronounced. higher speeds and rounder turns will produce a more rapid, but slightly smoother sounding popping.

I have had a semi-mechanic friend suggest it might be the tie rods?

btw, hi I'm new!

Most likely it's the CV joints.

replace worn cv's soon - they can break and have your car careening out of control. My buddy wrecked on the highway due to this problem - luckily he lived.

How does a CV joint break enough to cause your car to get out of control?
Only thing it does is attach the driveshaft to the hub, it wouldnt wear out to the point it would cause an accident, because you wouldnt be able to drive the car with a broken one.
