Hand Brake Light

Hi
I've recently noticed that when i do sharp turns or when i get my rpm's up a bit my hand brake light will come on for like 10 seconds and go back off...what could this be? some mechanic guy told be it was because my front breaks were finished, but is the hand brake sensor really hooked up with the front brakes? could it be a loose sensor that moves when i do sharp turns or get my rpm's up?
help would be nice
Thanks

btw

Your light is coming on because youre brake fluid is low. That light not only comes on when the parking brake is on, but when the fluid is low. Taking a sharp turn causes the fluid to slosh to one side and trip the low level sensor.

The light comes on intermittently when the brake fluid is low. Top it off with some fresh fluid. If the fluid has never been changed before, now would be a good time to do it. Put some in before you get air in the lines - you have worse problems then.

Check your brake pads next time you have your wheels off.
