K&N Panel Filter & Airbox (8th Gen)

Hey-
I have an 2002 Corolla LE, and I just bought a K&N Panel Filter to replace the stock filter they put in. I am just curious if there was a revision to the 02 Corolla at any point that year because the filter that is listed on K&N's website as fitting my car (Part# 33-2252) came in yesterday and it definitely doesn't fit, it is too narrow. Naturally, I did some researching and noticed that K&N has listed a different filter (Part# 33-2672) for 98-01 Corollas. I talked to K&N and it seems like they won't have a problem helping me out, but I just wanted to know if people have any experience with this and if perhaps I should find out which version of the 2002 I have.

nope i and drive a 95.. i'm using the 98-02 corolla K&N drop in filter...
