Corolla 2007

Hi,

I am planning to Buy a new Car. I like Corolla LE. But many of my friends saying "2007 Honda Civic is better than Corolla and looks also good".

Can anybody give me comparison chart for two models? not on the specifications, I am asking about comparison chart based on User Reviews? comparing both models..

Corolla LE Automatic and CIVIC LX Automatic.

And also please let me know your suggestion to buy New Corolla LE vehicle.

Thanks

Whats the point, because whats better is subjective. I'd say go and drive them both and see what YOU want.

Oh and asking about a civic in a toyota forum is an oxymoron. :P

I'd say stick it up for a little while longer and wait to see what the 2008 Corolla will turn out to be.

Well since your friend said the Civic looks better you best be listening to their advice and get one since they are going to be the one paying for it and they are going to be the one driving it and they are going to be the one living with it. Catch my drift?

For me, one of the main selling points of the corolla over the civic was the analog speedometer. Digital just doesn't do it for me. But, the civic has more horsepower and standard anti-lock brakes, and those were the two main features that tipped the scales toward the civic for me.

But, in my case, it was a corolla CE vs. the Civic DX, not the LE vs. the LX. And since the civic DX is more expensive than a CE and doesn't even have standard air conditioning, I didn't see any reason to not go with the CE. Not to mention the Corolla has a 60K power train warranty while the Civic has only a 36K warranty last I checked. Also, I'm not a fan of power windows, locks...etc, which come standard with the civic.

So, again, the corolla is not a choice that I really regret. However, I have lately been contemplating an Impreza base model before Subaru ruins that car forever starting this year in August with the 2008 model. It's going to look like a cross between a ford fusion and a shoe box. The mileage is what's mainly holding me back, especially with gas at like $3.50 for reg. I'm assuming it will only go up, so by the time I pay off the impreza, gas will be like $5/gallon and I'll be wishing I had kept the corolla.

I say to get the car that you want, and dont get peer pressured into getting a car that you don't want and later regretting it for buying a car you don't want to in the first place.

The corolla and civic are both great cars, its just what people prefer to buy.
