Hi guys. My name is Steve and by the title you'll know I'm new here, looking for a good place to find repair info for my Corolla. It's a 1978 TE-31 deluxe four-door with 2t-c engine that puts out an amazing 75 HP and 85 foot-pounds of torque (well, it did when it was new) and coupled with a state-of-the-art three speed automatic trasmission it's a blindingly fast
antique grocery getter dressed in white paint and dark blue interior!
Ok, I really do own the above mentioned vehicle, but I am not so dissalusioned as to believe it is fast, sporty, or impressive. I bought it about six months ago for $100 and it's got 59,000 miles on her. Needs a good bit of body work and a LOT of interior work. The vinyl interior has cracked and ripped from sitting in the sun for 29 years, and she's got some mechanical issues that all cars of this age are bound to have. So I'll be snooping around here from now on and working on this thing for quite some time I believe. After all, it's a Toyota, and she'll drive for another 200,000 easy.
