halo headlight question

my g/f has an 06 corolla S and she wants the halo headlights. Do these require cutting wires or just swap out, plug in, and go? I dont want to have to cut wires since it might void warranties.

I put some halo headlights on my 07 corolla s also. You do have to cut some wires. You have to splice the wires from the halos onto your signal lights to get the halos to work, but the mains lights are plug and play.

They are direct replacements to the stock headlamps.

It will depend on how your going to wire up the halos. You can wire them to the parking lights, turn signals, to a switch or leave them as is.

halo lights are just a brand of HID right? and if i got some would i have to change out the light or just bulbs? i seen bulbs but i dunno if theres anything else involved. plus what are the chances of them burning out

No, halo is a brand of halogen lights as well as a style of lighting. The second one is more commonly referred to. It is also similar to angel eyes in some BMWs where there are four rings that light up in the headlamp. They use their own bulbs, some uses CCFL and some use LED it'll depend on the quality of the parts to determine its lifespan.
