A/C Idle Up

92 AE92 Corolla Idle does not go up when the a/c is turned on. The A/C works fine but the idle drops when the compressor kicks on. I know there is a circuit that should compensate and kick up the idle when the A/C is on. What or where is this control? Is this strictly controlled by the ECU?

it's vacuum, mechanical and electronic. There are diagrams on the Internet, but I don't know the links. Also, there is a sticker under the hood on the car with a diagram.

Flasmn where is this idle up solenoid located? I just did a head gasket replacement and the plug might be disconnected.

i would most likely think its a vacuum line to or from the Idle Up VSV which is what Doctor J referred to next to the wiper motor.
