Arts Auto Refinishing, was recommended by Pickering Toyota.
Take Brock St. south (pickering) from 401, take your first right, drive to the last building on the right hand side, it's one of the last two units.
I stressed the fact that I wanted all-steel, which they did, and told them not too worry too much about arrow straight lines, after all it was not going to be a show car. For the most part the car turned out pretty good. One side is a little better than the other cause the bodyman who started it got ill, so another guy had to finish it. The first guy's side looks best, he also straightened out/fixed my rusty crooked hood and it looks pretty good.
Price was $2k including tax, rustproofing (Krown oil spray), and an out of province inspection, basecoat/clearcoat finish, 2 part primers, they used all quality materials (major bargoon). If you want a show car job, and you want them to strip all the trim/seals etc. and stuff that price might double.
The only thing that really pissed me off was they didn't do a good job when they painted the black on the bottoms, so I had to redo that myself last year, and their was a rust hole on the innerside of the quarter panel that I wasn't aware of that needed the gas tank dropped to fix properly... they had the bumpers all apart and welded a patch on the outside so they must have seen it, and they didn't even tell me about it. I would have paid extra to have them drop the tank and fix it right...oh well, I'll be finally doing it myself in the next couple of weeks (the welder is arriving soon).
Other minor issues were some dirt in the paint on the roof which they did a so so job of buffing out, and a few 'fish-eyes'. Which are kind of the owners fault

They are caused by too many chemicals on the car that the paint doesn't stick to, armor all, grease, oil, you should always wash your car inside and out about 5 times with soap and water just before a paint job, cause it's almost impossible to get ALL that stuff off right before a paint job.
