5E-FE Tranny on 93 Rolla 7A-FE???

Will the tranny that came on the 97 Paseo's with the 5E-FE Transmission bolt onto a 93 Rolla with the 7A-FE??? Any info on any other possible Manual Trannys that are bolt up would be much appreciated since I cant find ANYTHING on the net about it...

Also... I have a free 4A-GE Engine and am going to be doing a 7A-GE Frankenstein... wondering what all I need other than Headgaskets and the Porsche 924 Timing Belt to do this swap??

I believe if you search the forum for either 7AGE or 7AGZE you will get a couple of hits, there are a couple of threads on this already.

As for the transmissions, just go with the C52 from a 16V 4AGE or a C56 from a Silvertop 4AGE. I believe the Paseos have the C150 if I'm not mistaken, which are weaker than the C5X series. This has also been covered before as there are a few threads on the C5X series of transmissions.

reason im going paseo tranny is cause I have a free Tranny with everything needed to swap, just need to know if it will work or not, if its weak or not to start with isnt an issue with me at the moment, I just cant handle driving an auto tranny...

If I'm not mistaken, I recall reading that they are a little different.

I cannot find a C52 Transmission for the life of me, not even Ebay has them... what year cars did they come out of and where the hell can i find them??
