Free AE86 Positrac!

i just remembered a super cheap and uberboro way to make a positrack rear differential, you weld the satellites, my shop teacher did this to his 69 mustang

The only problem with that is that when you turn a corner, both wheels will turn at the same speed, where a differential allows the inside wheel to turn faster during cornering. Welding the diff is an old drag racer trick, mostly used because the car travels only in straight lines.

why not run this till it breaks, then buy a lsd, or weld another one from the junk yard

this isn't for my, i drive my pos camry, just looking out for the guys going for lsd that's going to run them 1000, 1200$
