the rims is wider then the tire most likely... so probably 205/50R15 is best...

thanks, i have no clue how to read tire sizes and wanted to know if those rims and tires would be a good combination

Depends on the offset.. if the offset is too high they'll rub on the inside, if the offset is too low, they'll rub on the outer fender.

What's the offset on the wheels you got?? The tire size you have is just perfect, you can also go with the 205/50-15s OR 195/55-15s.

Should fit just perfect.. I believe that year of Prizm had 39mm offset on their wheels.
