My Friend Crashed his 84 rolla!

We were going for a quite drive at lunch and it was a little wet and we came to a T intercetion and he was entering the major road from a non- major road and he got it sideways (Crap Shockys) let the car learch into the corner. he lost it and countersteered but he over corrected it and ran off the road and cleaned up about 4meters of farm fence, 2 big posts about 15-20cm wide and a heap of barbed wire. i havn't got any pics yet but i will put sum up later if i get any. he needs new front gards, bonnet, right cornerlight, right botom blinker, Front bumper,& a total respray because the barb wire scratched all the bonnet, half the roof, most the right side of the rolla and the back roght window.

Bummer about the crash!
About 8 or 9 years ago I was going to a service call for work in my AE92 Corolla GT-S. It was raining and I was by Toronto airport. I was under the gun, and happend to be thinking 'how would I bring it back if I lost it on wet pavement?' Just then I approached a 4-way intersection and had to turn right. The pavement was greasy wet and the car understeered. I instantly cranked the wheel right while yanking the emergency brake. I also powered the front wheels through the turn. I made my turn in pretty spectacular fashion, back end hung way out, sideways, in my lane, with an 18-wheeler in the next lane and cars all around. Who says that AE92s can't drift? I felt like I was in a rally at that point. All that I can say is I was bloody lucky I didn't tag somebody. It would have shaved years of the car's life, and numerous embarrassing questions would follow.

we have pushed out most of the dents with a jack and he is getting a new bumper (metal bumper that the plastic bumper bolts onto) got the metal part below the bumper just about streight, and the little brackets that hold the front gards on are wreked, got a new left mirror ( but striped a nut/screw thing getting off the old 1). still have to get both bottom turn signals, right corner light, grill.
