Noises in my AE92

My AE92 motor has got some serious valve noise or a tapping/loud clicking noise at idle rpms. Tried using some lubes to my engine oil (20/50) but nothing really helped. The clicking is softer but after driving it gets loud again. Any ideas and remedies besides ripping the engine apart? Its a hi mileage motor so I'm just trying to extend its life a little longer.

Also, I put an HKS Exhaust (LES-T14) on my car and from 1st gear it has a rattling noise that sounds like the pipe is hitting the chassis somewhere. I looked under the car but couldn't find where the noise was coming from. It doesn't "rattle" while revving in neutral but does when driving. I'm guessing the torque of the motor is causing the pipe to shift. Any fixes?

Thanks in advance

its not your strut ren...its your engine...its gonna die soon :p

well, have you checked your timing lately? and what fuel do you use??? try 91 next time, the ticking sound could be a pining sound cuz of High carbon build up

if it was your motor mount, your shifter would be shaking too
