the corolla is not an integra, an integra will stock vs stock not only out accelerate but also outhandle the corolla. even with the same modifications to the suspension, a 7th gen corolla wont handle like an integra simply because the integra was built as a sporty car where as the 7th gen corolla was not.
there have been black top swapped corolla's that have hit 500hp at the wheel, it all depends on what you want to do to the car and how much money you're willing to put into it. any car can beat any other car with the proper tuning/mods/money spent. like Phat said, generally a 20v Largeport will beat a gsr if properly setup, will beat a gsr, but don't expect it to do it stock, just because it has the levin engine in it, doesn't mean it will drive like a levin. if you wanna stay wih toyota and want a serious tuner that will compare to a gsr or b16, then you will probably wanna get a mk4 supra, an mk2 mr2, or if you wanna spend the money shipping one to maryland, get a ae111 levin, if you're lucky, you can find one with the 6 spd manual, but that = $$$. just expect to spend more money tuning a toyota because, unlike hondas, aftermarket parts don't go on them like legos. there's more custom modification involved when tuning a toyota. the gsr pulls about 140 stock compared to a ae111 levin's 170 stock, but the gsr xcosts less to modify, and i don't which reacts to modifications better, but they both can get pretty powerful.

Sell it and get an RSX with a K motor in it.. I wouldn't bother getting a Civic or Integra anymore.. everyone's been there, done that, etc with those two specific cars.
A well tuned Silver or Blacktop 20V would keep up with the B series Hondas, which is why I would probably opt for a 3SGE/GTE swap in our cars.
The simple answer to that question is yes, with the right mods and proper tuning.
Common sense says it all comes down to how much money the owner is willing to spend on the car to make it fast.
The question now is; do you love your car enough to spend money on an engine swap for it?
It takes too much money to make a corolla a fast car. Honda/Acura has a huge aftermarket and a less expensive aftermarket then toyota. I can't think of any way a toyota is superior to a honda when you compare a civic/integra/corolla/celica.

So you want a car based solely on speed.....okay..... than get a Civic/CRX hatch with a B18A/B and turbo that. Get the car on what you want from it not what cars you can beat. Every car has potential, just some require more work and money. But if you want the least amount of work for the least amount of cost you can look into domestics (not familar but can be had for cheap with good numbers and Hondas). But if you have any Honda questions ask.

Thats one of my reasons I got an Integra, because of the resources. Since the introduction and the shift of aftermarket support from the B series to the K series parts are cheaper. The beauty of it is that everything have been experimented on, I don't need to be a guinea pig

There are a vast number of quality aftermarket parts to be had for a Corolla, you just have to know where to look. Parts for Toyotas are more expensive because they are harder to source. For any Gucci parts, you have to look overseas as there is not much available here in North America.
