o and on the underside of the valve cover..dont worry about the drop of water..i had it sitting out for a minute and my dad sprayed a hose and it got on it.. but its out to dry
Naah, I'd change the oils more frequently and maybe do a forte oil treatment, using cleaning agent. Or just leave it alone and change oils more frequently, because I dont see any sludge in there.
Seafoam has more air in its claims and we dont use such products at our shop.
Looks normal for an engine with that mileage. Don't worry about the varnish color. The main thing here is that there are no sludge deposits found. If you want to clean everything up try "AutoRX" it does wonders in removing the dark brown deposits in the valve train and engine. But like I said it is normal.
i am..i actually put this new valvoline oil in it..i used to put the high mileage oil in it..for 75000miles and up..well valvoline makes this um..not full synthetic but i guess part synthetic and i put it in and it runs and idles alot better since then..and the new oil is also meant for cars with higher mileage
and my motor hasn't had an oil change in a good while, I keep adding oil since the headgasket is gone, and it still looks better than that :|.. Thats some seriously nasty oil in that motor it looks almost BLACK
