engine oil

Is over-filing engine oil on Toyota cars bad? The oil level is showing about one-quarter of an inch over the oil dipstick.

¼ inch is ¼ quart of less of oil and will not do anything. 1 quart might. Too much oil will cause it froth as the rotating parts whip it.

more oil = larger volume of oil trying to flow around your engine = more fluid to displace = engine might seem a little sluggish

my thoughts.

^yeah it burns a little, so i guess it'll be okay next month or so. It DOES feel a little sluggish. Well, if you guys say it won't be a hazard, then I won't drain it.
