It's a manual. Was planning on cleaning it all off, and keeping an eye on it, but wanted to get some pics first 'for history sake'.
Not sure on the type of oil it is - I'm not brilliant at determining the type, but will give it a try.
Will put car up again and have a squizz at all the seals.

Thanks. No need to be sorry - I've started to clean out the engine this weekend, and it's a right royal pain in the a**e - 205,000kms worth of crap on it. I don't want to go the option of covering and doing a big spray as, knowing me, i'll miss something, and bugger something up. So, i'm going slowly but 'softly' as it were.
