strut bar

i have a 98 corolla and i was thinkin of buying a carbon fiber strut bar, how do you put the strut bar on, is it as simple as unscrewing the bolts putting it on then screwing them back on? thanks

It is infatc that simple. If you have a torque wrewnch you cna retorque thme to spec otherwise jsut tighten thme so their tight, but not so tight they snap off.

you know i was thinking it would snap to but i have seen carbon fiber do other crazy things... i think it may be ok as long as he isnt pulling insane amounts of hp or taking hairpins at 90mph...

it should be fine. the ones that i have seen on ebay are usually wrapped or painted like they are carbon fiber. I personally want the billit one

That is exactly how to change it.

And it would cost a lot to have an authentic 100% carbon fiber strut bar, since the Corolla market isn't as demanding or (no offense to anyone) willing to spend as much its mostly painted/wrapped/stickered etc.

yea i just read further and it is in fact just wrapped with the stuff, thanks so much guys!
helpin me with one more step to restoring a corolla that has 227,000 and still running great!
