Corolla VE feul capacity??

I just bought a 1999 Corolla VE. It didn't come with an owners manual. Could anyone tell me the feul tank capacity and if it has a low fuel light(I'm guess not, no AC or power either). Thanks

I believe it does have a low fuel light.

Thanks for the info, I'm running my first tank through it, Once I calculate the milage I get and figure out what I can get(in theory) out of a tank I will be a little more confident to see if there is a low fuel light.

Although you could just fill it up before it goes to empty, thus you'd never really need the light.

Look at the dash in bright sunlight, you should be able to see the outlines of all the warning lights that way. If there's one that looks like a gas pump, then you have a low fuel light.

Yeah well.. Might not have the sensor in the tank nor the wires in the dash cluster. Kinda like some cars have the same dash with the check engine light place, but no cel.
