A245E shift question

when i leave the selector in 2 the 1-2 upshift is MUCH firmer than in D, why is this?

Didn't notice this with the unmodified transmission...was yours doing this before you tightened the cable?

hmm...i'm not sure to be honest. its alot more noticable since adding about 1/2 oz of seal sweller to the trans at last oil change. that firmed it up all over. te cable has been like it is for a while now, i dont remember before i took out 1/8th inch slack. it feels more like that in 2 the fluid skips an accumulator or something i dont know the internal fluid routing of it.
