Um, would this be done at a Chevy Dealership, or should I ask the Toyota dealership--afterall, it is afterall a Toyota engine.

I'd much rather Toyota service my car than any other place. But i'd also rather Chevy service my car rather than Jiffy Lube (which the previous owner has been using all this time).

neither, do it yourself. You'll be 100x more happy when you're done, trust me.

But if you must, take it to Chevy.

Its elementary, with a simple ring to your local Toyota dealership inquiring about your car and its maintenance needs the dealership should respond with a conclusion. Else take it to your Chevy dealer since it is your second choice in the ones given. But most likely, Toyota should be of service if they are knowledgeable in the similarity of the shared engine.

I would be inclined to head to the Toyota dealer as well. I found many times that the parts at the Toy dealer were lower in price than at the Chevy dealer. As long as you aren't dealing with any service involving warranty repairs I can't see why they would turn away your business.
