i was asked to be Canadian ALT (AE92) member in Japan

hey fellow AE92 guys!
i was talking to the ALT mods in japan and they wanted me to start a website here..."ALT in Canada"
Club ALT (Levin Trueno and FX club)
here are their website (all in jap)
Club ALT
they have enormous englsh speaking ppl asking questions but they cannot understand english.
so i was thinking if i should represent ALT in Canada for them.
but as we all know, the lack of AE92 owner, we will not have enuff readers......

the other advantage is that we can start to learn about AE92 in japan as long as them learning AE92 in US/CAN

what do you guys think????should i try as represantative of TN or should i just forget about it?

im doing this so we can get a lil connection between JDM and USDM

I think it would be a cool thing to do. Get a taste of the Japanese AE92 community as it is more popular there than here; maybe even some secrets! Whether or not you want to take the time and create a website, translation etc. for the few dedicated AE92 owners on TN is a different story. Good luck though!

Have you spoken to the guys! The only problem I see is translation, they are going to start reading our post and they will not understand us, and vice-versa! So would you be willing to do some translation?

I think it's a really good idea to be introduced to Japanse AE92 owners and be able to share their experiences and see their upgrades etc..

Here's a thought.

Instead of the alt. forums point them here if they wish to communicate with Canada - and others.

ALT japan, an affiliatte of Toyota Nation.com

Club ALT is cool man.. too bad I can't understand japanese, but I've been on their site and seen their cars (when I finally found how to get to the pics section ).

Hmmm.. I wonder if these guys could send us some parts like bumpers and lights for cheap.

Ive talked to the Mod all night,...and i figure that its more of an advantage if we knew Japanese AE92. so i figured if i translate their DIY and other stuff...
Its the language barrier thats stopping them to enter TN. but very interesting if we can get more international veiwer on TN
I'll look more into it and try to get TN fimiliar in Japan maybe there somebody in japan that can speak english? who knows?

and also, i want to get some other type of vehicle (camry, celica, etc etc) enthusiast in japan to know TN. so if any of you guys know clubs in japan, let me know, and i'll write them a email if they are interesed in viewing TN.
I find it interesting cuz Japan is Toyota's mother land

I've showed couple of our TN meet pix to them and they have more interests on the Matrix, cuz they don't have them in Japan...

in the other hand, should i keep this towards myself and not involve TN at all?

i say go ahead and keep it goin with ALT but check with DIckson first about involving TN

other than that i say it's all good and the more contact you make with the Japanese, the better cause they know their shit and parts that we wont, well they have so yeah you know what i'm saying

The little brother of a friend and neighbour of mine lives in Japan and teaches Engrish to them. I'm certain that he knows some Japanese by now. Hmmmm...
