tranny speed sensor question

okay, after my last thread with my shifting troubles, I figured the wiring out on the 9-pin neutral start switch and now it shifts through all gears in "D", overdrive works, "2" stays in 2nd "L" stays in 1st and it doesn't kick itself out of gear...fanfcukintastic!

but the O/D light still flashes after driving for a bit...I'm thinking it has something to do with either the speed sensors or the power/manual switch..let's tackle the vehicle speed sensors first

now, according to my tech articles, there are two speed sensor inputs to the ECU; one from the magnetic pick-up on the tranny and the other is a "back-up" on the speedometer itself that's controlled by the cable coming from the differential...the ECU compares both for a more accurate speed reading and thus knows to shift later in power mode as opposed to in normal mode

but my instrument cluster has no speedo cable! so where am I connecting my speed inputs from?

does anybody have the pin designations from the AE101 Corolla instrument cluster?
