Red face Stupid and Quick Question:Dash lights and tail lights

My dash lights are out and my tail lights don't light up till I hit the brakes. What should I be checking for?

your taillights start will checkin allthe ground in the light essembly, tighten them all up and then check all the ground connected to the lights
as for the dash well you gotta take out the cluster and change the bulbs

i didn't mention fuse cause i figured it was common knowledge that it's the first thing you check

but to check grounds where ever the black ground wires end.. are bolted or screwed to the body or metal ground plates or whatever, well tighten those up and then check the ground wires for rips, splices, burns whatever
