Fidanza or OEM flywheel for fuel economy?

I did some reading and still can't find a definite answer, so here goes:

For a daily driven gen 8 Corolla shooting for gas mileage and occasional quick takeoff, should I use a Fidanza or OEM flywheel?

The engine won't see any major mods anytime soon.

From what I read Fidanza will make my car rev up fast, slow down fast, and me having to shift fast - whatever that means, but will cut down a lot of rotating mass.

i say go lighter fly wheel, this is one of those things that if you are planning on doing mods later on it's easier if you've already done the fly wheel rather than have to pull the tranny again because you want it later on

The extra cost for a lightened flywheel will take years if not decades of gas savings just to break even.

By shifting faster, they mean you need to move the shift lever quicker because your rpms drop faster.

Other things worth mentioning is that a car with a lightened flywheel usually feels more vibrations during idle, and gives you a little more power in the top end.

OEM.

1) Your flywheel will keep up engine momentum. Makes it lot nicer for daily driving.
2) A light flywheel WONT add power
3) A light flywheel WONT add mileage

Let me rephrase as it's technically true. A lightened flywheel does not add power. However, it can help a car accelerate faster.

it only increases rev tendency. Meaning your engine will change speeds faster, because you dont have to first spin the heavy flywheel.

in a way yes... however depends on what response you're looking, throttle response is different in a way.
