depends.. if the stock speakers are 4" you're SOL. If they're 5.25s they might squeeze in but you will have to build a custom bracket or drill new holes.. OR shave off the hole to make it bigger.

I have a 01 corolla and 6.5 inch pioneers fit no problem in the back and the front.

One thing you have to be careful with is the front speakers. Your magnet cant be to big, or your window won't go down all the way.

I have 4 6.5 inch 2 way pioneers. They sound amazing!

yeah thats right and if your not carefull when they are wired up they can ground out when your window is rolled down... the metal bracket that connects it can touch both the positive and negative and cause your speaker to stop playing/making noise

"the metal bracket that connects it can touch both the positive and negative and cause your speaker to stop playing/making noise"

will that completley ruin the speaker? or is that just when its down all the way if i don't wire it right?

it should. and yes i would guess after time it would ruin a speaker (this is if you even run into the problem) i always wire my speakers with the terminals towards the ground if you can not get around that you can use some electrical tape and that will keep it from shutting off. just be carefull when you start to take the panel off its not hard to do but everything should come off fairly easy if you find yourself pulling really had or it seems like its not bugging your probably missing a screw holding the panel down. as far as pulling it off once you have taken all the screws out you can use a flat head screw driver or a prybar to pop the little plastic ancors out. There should not be but a few screws holding it in one in the door handle and one or two more around the arm rest i would think the hanes should have the diagream for it though good luck and i am sure the new speakers will be wasome

When I took my door panel off, It was a BITCH. I had never done it before. I ended up driving down 295 to my local best buy to have them instal the speakers and put the doors back together. To this day, I still don't know how to do take my door panels off/on.

be careful

stock speaker size doesn't matter, all that matters is the size of the hole in the door. www.crutchfield.com can tell you what will fit if you're ever in doubt.

the corollas door panels are pretty easy to remove, everything snaps together a lot easier than many cars I've worked with. I would prefer screws for longevity, but meh. There are a few write-ups on this forum (with pics) that show how to remove the panel, just do a search.
