Australia 4afe itbs???

whats up guys, i was stuck in chemistry 2day n my mind started wandering (as usual) and an idea popped into my head. would 4age s/t or b/t quad throttles fit on a 4afe? or is there a kit available to do this without going down the carbie road?

What?

1. you can't have carbs with ITBs.
2. No there is no kit, you'd have to custom make an adaptor.
3. If you did that you'd need a stand alone ECU to run it even close to well.
4. You wouldn't gain anything because the restriction is in the head on an FE

So in summary, if you want quads buy a 20v and fit that.

i think what he meant is he want the ITBs to stay EFI coz he doesn't want to go carbs.

the biggest problem is custom fabbing the intake manifold and ECU. if you are gonna use 20V ITBs go with the ST coz they're smaller. the BTs are too big for the application.

And the fuel rail! The F heads have the injectors on the manifold, the G heads have a fuel rail that goes seperately into the head, right?

Not the older F head. Injectors are in the head in that one.

As for using bike parts, well bikes come with carbs OR Itb's depends on what bike you get them from. As for making the manifold to fit them, piece of cake really, I had a bike carb manifold done and I had a manifold for weber DCOE's done. As for head restriction, you can deal with that...

Lets just say, you cant force water from a big pipe through a pea sized hole. You can taper the intake tracts, but it requires some length to work well.
