Both will do fine, T28 would be my pick.

Normally you first chose your goals (HP, RPM) then you choose an appropriate size turbo.

Spec V T28 from a Nissan S-15. Good for ~300hp with supporting mods. Pics of your manifold please.

CT26 is smaller, and will make less power. Depends what you're after.

A CT26 would be a good match for a stock 4agze as the injectors will run out about the same time as the turbo (about 150kw)

for 200hp, wouldn't need anything else, run standard GZE ECU.

Stock internals are good for 200kw, and about 18~20psi.

But stock GZE ECU is only mapped to 14~15psi so you have to keep it around there.

So yea, just sortout an exhaust + manifold,
intercooler and piping,
and the intake + intake manifold will need to be changed.

Keep the boost under 15psi and it will go great. Would probably only need 11~12 for 200hp.

Not sure on an RB20 turbo, that's a T3 right?

The exhaust side of that turbo is often used on hybrids for 4agte's so I guess that means the compressor is smallish.

Still if you're only after 200hp I sure you'd get it.

a t28 from a dsm on a properly tuned megasquirt showed a little higher than 230whp and 220wtq in an mr2..... and the powerband was NOT peaky at all....

a ct26 is a bigger turbo than a t28..... and the spool time will be longer.... which relates to slower lower rpm's and peaky higher rpm's.....

i believe this run was BEFORE he had the power he does now.... numbers were considerably lower
