in the engine bay by the windshield wiper motor
it's about a 1 1/2" by 3/4" plug.

DAHHHHHHHHHHHHH i can't find it

does it look exactly like the ae92's? its just a small plug that has a cover over it and when you flip the cover there is the plug diagram with E and T1 and blah blah?

because the only thing i found in the engine bay so far for the 86 is this huge ass plug that plugs into something else and it runs into the car.. its right against the firewall and on the right of the wiper motor..

i looked at the diagram on the hood and it showed where the check connector is but ITS JUST NOT THERE!?!

haha the location is right and the ecu diagnosis plug came in two different shapes depending on the year the car is. I don't have a manual in front of me but the big plug you found could be it.
