'97 power window problem
I tried to roll down my driver side window today when I got into the car and it responded perfectly, but when I lifted the button to roll up the window, the window didn't move a bit. After that it just died, neither responding to lifting or pushing the button. But in about ten minutes I tried my luck with the window again and it worked just fine, but only for a few seconds, then it died again not moving another inch. The same intermittent failure reperted several times today as I tried to reproduce the problem.
Actually this happened when I bought the car from its second owner, but mysteriously it started working normally a month after the purchase, and that's why I am using this window.
I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this problem or have an idea what is going wrong. thx!
