HKS 256 and HKS 264

HKS valve springs, ferrea valves, trd head gasket etc etc.

List is endless for the 4ag. (Well sort of lol.)

If you decide to do the valve train, don't forget a megasquirt because you can rev it to 8.5 safely now... probably would want bigger cams than 264 if that's the case as well tho...

I'am going to try some pdm. cams. A friend with a carbed ae86 is swaping out his stock cams for some pdm's.He just dynoed his car and will again after the cam swap. Ive got 350,000 on the bottom end and looking for some cast Toyota pistons about 10.5 to one for the bottom end rebuild.( like the tighter fiting cast over the forged for a daily driver) I just did a top end when my fx was stolen and came back with a blown hg. I allmost hate to touch it because its running so good 28-32 mpg around town.I had a spare head that I ported and polished and was ready to go . But the block needs to be DECKED badly. The #4 spot like all high milage 4ag is the worst Ive ever seen on a car.If yours is going to be a daily driver I would stay on the mild side of the cam specks. The 4ag is a pig off the line to begin with and taking more off the bottom to move a small part to the top makes for long days in a daily driver. Now if you pumping up the cr you can get a bit more aggresive with the cam.The biggest mistake I see most people make is to aggresive of a cam for the lack of cr and head work to make it sing.
