AE92 exhaust rattling fix

I have my ae92 with an CUSCO 4-1 CHambered header, custom piping after that, high flow cat and a full hks catback exhaust. Somehow. I think the header portion was a bit longer than stock (0.25-0.5in or so)... so it pushed my HKS catback back a bit and now the HKS seems to rattle against the underbody heat shield (right before the gas tank).... Anyone know of a quick fix for this? It's buggin the shit outta me . I think it's rattling against the bolt that holds the gastank heat shield. Is it safe to remove that heat shield on this car?... or will it cause vaporization resulting in a messed up engine/performance ?

remove the heatsheild. You wont really notice anything from heat or so on. Most cars have a main heatsheild that is like a tar barrier molded to the underside of the car and the tin heatshield is just a extra gaurd. You can always just trim that section if you dont want to remove the whole thing....good luck

nothing should happen at all. On pretty much all cars that i have seen or work on there are two layers of heatshields. One is on the body it self and then you have the tin one.
