Help - electrical problem

Hi, I am new to this forum, I hope you can help. I have a '93 corolla that had a over heating problem. Turned out to be the fan. I found that the fuse was blown so I pulled it, but I had to pull the relay next to it (EFI) to get to it. I got a new fuse, put it in and replaced the relay and here the problem starts - the car wont start. It turns over but does not start - won't even cough.

I squirted starter fluid into the intake and it acts like it wants to start.

I pull the EFI fuse, and check voltage at the fuse when the key is on and I hear the relay and fuel pump go when I make contact with the meter at the fuse and the voltage is correct.

I pulled the fuel fitting at the EFI header and crank the engine and the fuel pumps.

I tried to check for voltage at the injectors by pushing the probe in next to the wires, and get no voltage during cranking.

It acts like the injectors are not opening!

HELP! I am not sure where to go from here, I recharged the bat. to keep cranking...

Henk

sounds like you bumped another fuse while you were playing around in their. check all the other fuses in their to make sure their are sitting properly. Try taking them all out and then putting them all back in. Also check the other fuses to make sure you didnt blow any. Was the battery disconnected when you pulled the fuse?

I did pull all the other fuses and relays, checked them with the meter, and all seem OK. I even switched the relays that were applicable, but to no avail. I am wondering if there is a fuseable link in the EFI system. No, I did not disconnect the bat...
