Taking off the Model Emblem..

Anyone know how to take off the CE on the back? What I want to do is put the letter of my first name there...

Heat it up with heat gun or hair dryer, slide dental floss underneath to "saw" it off, clean residual glue with alcohol.

on my 325i i just used dental floss and it came right off then i used some goof off to remove all the glue/tape residue and then waxed that area and u cant even tell. pretty easy process. If you are going to be using a heat gun and hair dryer becareful and not hold it in one spot to long as you can damage the paint

Hey funny guy,

Did this work for you? I was thinking of taking everything off of mine, and just leaving the S.

Thanks, Paul
