do one side at a time, so you can see what parts go where.. don't mess with the hydraulic cylinder... if you want to make it easier, buy some brake tools.. if you don't know how, I have no clue what book as the instructions, as I grew up learning to do this stuff and did not learn from books..
try to clean all the brake dust out, only use brake cleaner, do not touch the shoes with greasy handy, they must be clean! Shop air helps clean the braje dust, but when you pul them off, take them to an area outside and pop them down on the ground so the dust is knocked out..... clean the assembly out with brake cleaner, in spray can, if it is really nasty,,, if you blow it with shop air.... be prepared for the nastiest dust ever..
you must know how to adjust the shoes so they are neither to loose, not to tight when you slide the drum back over them..
It's not hard, but if you have never done them, I hope there instructions somewhere to help you... make sure the drum turns freely when you assemble them, but only a few thousandths from the soes rubbing the drum when turned...
you will probably need to bleed them,, although a self bleeding kit is nice, I still prefer having a second person to help, so I can watch the fluid in the clear hose and watch for air..
