No Lights for Gauges or Heating

2001 geo prizm

well... my fuse isn't blown for the interior lights, or the gauge lights (from what fuses i could find)

but my instrument cluster won't light up (however the blinkers, highbeams, and warning lights all lighjt up) and my lights for the heating/cooling things dont work, but the green A/C light does

any ideas?

Im having the same problem with my 95 corolla. If you find something out let me know. It's just a pain in the ass not having inside lights. I had to buy a stupid book light to shine on my gauges to see how fast im driving at night.

Check all fuses first, sometimes some fuses are tied with other things even though they don't show up as being so.

check your bulbs after that.

Very true.

In my friends 99 ford taures, he got a new radio, which was blowing fuses because wht radio was defective, The fuse was labeled radio, but it controlled the radio, and the speedometer.

The dimmer switch, why didn't I think of that one! Our 93 Civic HB goes through dimmer switches like nothing, the lights always get screwed up when the switch starts to go.
