how to replace rearview mirror

my old rearview mirror cracked and i need it fixed asap...

how do i take the old one off?

depends. Most all you have to do is pull on it till it pops off. Then pop the new one back on. But some are different.

My 01 has a mounting bracket. The mirror just slides off.

When I got a new windshield, the mounting bracket was already attached to the new windshield.
