Canada sticky vent solenoid

1998 corilla

check engine light came on
mechanic read a PO446 code and reports that he toggled the vent solenoid back and forth because it was sticking and the problem went away

the problem has come back

where is the vent solenoid located I can probably look after it myself

This is my first toyota and i am stll learning about where toyota engineers like to hide things
