Australia Heater hose connection - removal - weird split pin design...

Hey all,
What is the best way to get this connection off?? It's on the tiny heater hose down the back, and all the other heater hoses are those standard pull together clips.
Looks like a split pin type thing, but there is no room to get it out, and lots of room to break something trying, knowing me.
thanks,
Poiter

Pull the pin out. I use a pair of side cutters to grab the head of the pin and pry it out. You can then replace this with a regular hose clamp.
