Angry why is my fuel filter leaking

Changed the gas tank and fuel filter on the weekend
The old gas tank was NNNAAASSSTYYYY all kinda of shit floating around in there LOL

Anyway it went fine expect now the fuel filter leaks gas from the bottom of the bolt on the out fuel line (the fuel line on top).

I put the little copper washer back on, will using a new washer fix the problem? Should i use some liquid gasket?
