Talking

I used the transmission out of ane E30 Which is a the older model 3-series body style from the 80's early 90's... Which only cost me $45.00 <----Yes thats not a typo "pull-a-part" Kicks ass !! The motor can be purchased from anywhere in the $850-$1000 price range but that com with all belt driven componet and ecu full harness...I don't care what anyone says thats a DEAL!!! This is the first corolla we have done but it is coming along quickly... we plan on doing another one as soon as we can test this one and work any bugs that it might have out!! Last week we ran the fuel lines so it should be firing up very soon ... Hopefully in the next couple of weeks!! I plan on pulling it out of the garage and doing a burn out untill i blow up the sr5 rear end and then i am gonna pull it back in to the garage and put in my Toyota 8 Inch !! I think i will get that on video for you guys!!

so was this just something you thought would be cool to do & just went for it.. or was there a sole purpose for doing this swap ?

It was just an idea I had that we ran with had no idea at the time that it was gonna be easy!! Then again I do have the luck of having a great tech with awesome fabricating abilities"Wayne" <--- he is truely a marvel at what he does!! Ohh and by the way I can't think of one thing in my life there was sole purpose for doing!!!
